Brendan J. King is a Partner at Fusaro, Altomare & Ermilio. He chairs the Estate, Trust & Tax Department. As Partner, he has participated in major decisions regarding the firm’s business strategies and built the department that he now leads. Brendan has also contributed to helping build a team of exceptional attorneys who deliver innovative solutions for FA&E’s clients. He joined the firm in 1997.
Brendan’s practice focuses on asset and wealth preservation. Brendan has extensive experience in the complexities of estate planning and probate matters and in managing the administration of trusts and estates. Additionally, his Master’s of Law studies in Taxation uniquely position him to understand and respond to important tax consequences fundamental to estate planning. His areas of expertise include estate planning, asset protection, tax planning, business and succession planning, trust and estate administration, elder and disability law and financial aid planning.
Brendan is a member of the American Bar Association (Asset Protection Subcommittee), the Massachusetts Bar Association (Tax Subcommittee), the Worcester County Bar Association (Estate, Trust and Tax Committee), the Estate & Business Planning Council, of which he is the Secretary, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is also on the faculty of Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE).
In keeping with FA&E’s commitment to community involvement, Brendan serves on the Boards of Directors for many organizations including the Worcester State Foundation, the Vuona Charitable Foundation and Soul Advocate, Inc. He is a corporator of the Worcester Art Museum and is a member of the museum’s Stephen Salisbury Society.
Brendan earned his Bachelor’s degree at the College of the Holy Cross. He earned his Juris Doctor at Suffolk University Law School and his LL.M in Taxation at Boston University School of Law. He is admitted to the Bar in Massachusetts. |
