John N. Altomare is the Managing Partner at Fusaro, Altomare and Ermilio. He chairs the Corporate & Business Planning and the Commercial Real Estate Departments. John has been with the firm since 1985 and he assumed the managing partner’s role in 1998. Since that time he has developed a business strategy of growth and has enriched the firm’s areas of specialization. Under his leadership, FA&E relocated its headquarters; expanded its core of services to include Domestic and Family Law; and appointed new department chairs for the Litigation and the Estate, Business & Tax Planning - Estate & Trust Administration practice areas.

John’s leadership and vision are instrumental in the continued success and growth of the firm in a rapidly changing legal environment.

John serves as counsel to a broad spectrum of businesses ranging from sole proprietorships to major national corporations. He counsels them on all aspects of their operations including business and corporate planning, business formation, contracts, commercial lending, business succession planning, shareholder agreements and employee non-compete agreements.

John has a proven track record for providing existing businesses and start-ups with sound legal and business strategies, from financing, key employee relations, mergers and acquisitions. John's goal is to take each client's vision and, with integrity and dedication, make it happen.

A graduate of St. Michaels College, he earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1985. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.

John is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Worcester County Bar Association and the Massachusetts Conveyancers Association.

As an active member of the Greater Worcester Community, John serves as a Corporator for Bay State Savings Bank; he is a Corporator and member of the Development Committee for EcoTarium; he is a member of the UMass Memorial Foundation and the Community Partnership Committee; and he serves as a Director of Citizens Advocacy –Worcester.

Additionally, John is a Director of the Fusaro Charitable Foundation, and President & Director of the Vuona Charitable Organization.
