Fusaro, Altomare & Ermilio Expands Practice

Fusaro, Altomare & Ermilio, located in downtown Worcester, has announced that it will be joined by the law firm of Mark Twombly Lee. The move will take place on June 1, 2004.

“ This expansion meets our business strategy to grow FA&E’s practice areas to include domestic and family law,” according to John N. Altomare, managing partner and head of the firm’s corporate and business law department. “Mark Twombly Lee is a well-respected family law practioner. With the addition of his firm we ensure that we can add another dimension of services and thus ensure our clients’ needs are met.” FA&E has leased 2500 square feet of additional space at its headquarters on 11 Foster Street in order to accommodate the addition of four new members to staff.

Mark Twombly Lee has been in business since 1995 and was located on Dix Street in Worcester. That office will be closed. Attorney Lee joins FA&E as a partner and he will head up the firm’s domestic and family practice. He will also assume responsibility for residential real estate practice. “My business had reached a point where it needed to grow and the opportunity to join FA&E offered a perfect fit for me and for my staff.” stated Mr. Lee. Nicole Boyda will also make the move to FA&E.

In another strategic move aimed at strengthening the litigation department, FA&E hired Thomas J. Scannell as partner and department head earlier this year. Attorney Scannell’s responsibilities include all facets of civil trail practice with an emphasis on commercial employment and contract disputes as well as medical practice defense. He also manages matters involving arbitration and mediation. Mr. Scannell formerly served as a partner in the litigation practice area for Bowditch & Dewey.
