FAE’s John Altomare Recognized for his Community Work and Global Outreach

In May, 2014, John Altomare was recognized for his continued commitment to work in the Worcester and global communities.  The Seven Hills Global Out Reach Foundation honored John as its “Seven Hills Global Hero” for his continued support of the Foundation’s work to improve the living conditions in the region of Sierra Leone and most recently efforts to prevent the spread of the Ebola virus.  John and his family have provided financial support to the Foundation’s work in constructing sanitation systems and wells and bringing solar power to the medical clinic in the region. The plaque that John received has these words from Mahatma Gandhi as an inspiration to all:  “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
